Great for pizzas or as a snack or lunch.

Recipe Ingredients for Flatbread

1 1/2 c warm water (105-110)
1/2 tsp yeast
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbs olive oil

Recipe Directions for Flatbread

  1. Proof yeast in water.

  2. Add 1 cup of each type of flour. Mix 1 min to form sponge.

  3. Cover. Allow to rise for 1 hour.

  4. Using dough hook on stand mixer add salt. Add remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time to form dough.

  5. Knead dough. Cover and allow to rise 2 1/2 hours or until doubled.

  6. Divide into 4 equal portions. Allow to rise an additional 30 mins. Divide again and roll into desired shape. Brush with olive oil.

  7. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes until crispy. Or grill for same time.
