Turkey Meat Loaf with Walnuts and Sage

Recipe Ingredients for Flat Belly diet

2 teaspoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup walnuts
2 slices whole wheat bread
1/4 cup fat free milk
2 egg whites
1 lb (Honeysuckle White) ground white turkey, 98% fat-free
1/4 cup parsley
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

Recipe Directions for Flat Belly diet

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F spray loaf pan with Pam

  2. Chop walnuts in a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Break up the bread and add to walnuts. Pulse until both are ground to fine crumbs. Transfer to a large bowl. With a fork, stir in the milk and egg whites. Add the turkey, parsley, cheese, sage, salt and pepper. Mix gently just until blended.

  3. Place in a loaf pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes
