Based on a popular Chinese dish, these fun wraps can be used for a main dish or appealing appetizers for entertaining. 6 Servings, 1 1/4 cups filling for about 6 wraps each. Active Time: 30 minutes. Total Time: 30 minutes

Recipe Ingredients for Five-Spice Turkey & Lettuce Wraps

0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1/2 cup Brown Rice
0.3 serving Sesame Seed Oil
16 oz Extra Lean 99% Fat Free Fresh Tray Ground Breast
1 tbsp Ginger, Ground
1 medium raw Bell Pepper Red
1 serving 8 oz can water chesnuts
0.5 cup Soup, chicken broth, canned, less/reduced sodium
2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
1 tsp Chinese Five Spices
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
4 cups Romaine Lettuce
1.764 oz Cilantro
1 oz Basil, Fresh
1 oz Mint
1 oz Chives

Recipe Directions for Five-Spice Turkey & Lettuce Wraps

  1. 1. Bring water to boil in a small saucepan. Add rice, reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat.

  2. 2. Meanwhile, heat oil in large nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Add turkey and ginger, cook crumbling with a wooden spoon, until the turkey is cooked through, about 6 minutes. Stir in the cooked rice, bell pepper, water chestunuts, broth, hoisin sauce, five-spice powder and salt; cook until heated through, about 1 minute.

  3. 3. To Serve, divide lettuce leaves among plates, sppon some of the turkey mixture into each leaf, top with herbs and carrot and roll into wraps.
