I made this for the 1st time today after tearing it out of an old Self magazine, its soo quick to make and the best homemade indian dish i've ever tasted!!!! adjust chile according to taste, i loved it super hot!

Recipe Ingredients for Five spice Shrimp & Fish

1 tsp sesame oil
85 g salmon
1/2 lb shrimp
2 cloves garlic
30 g ginger root
70 g onion
14 oz tomatoes, pureed
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp scotch bonnet pepper

Recipe Directions for Five spice Shrimp & Fish

  1. Spray a skillet with pam or I can't believe its not butter spray

  2. Add chopped onion, saute for 3 mins until golden brown

  3. Finely chop the ginger and garlic (crushing is fine too)

  4. add to skillet

  5. add spices and tomatoes

  6. simmer 5 mins

  7. add shrimp & chicken to pan and cook until chicken is cooked

  8. keep heat on medium -high until most of liquid evaporates

  9. serve over rice,

  10. garnish with coriander(cilantro)
