Made using cooked mashed potatoes instead of grated.

Recipe Ingredients for Fishcakes Made with Mash

120 g Cod
10 g stock cube (use fish, no info in database for fish stock cube)
400 g potatoes, boiled & mashed
40 ml lowfat milk
25 g cracker meal
1 pinch salt
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp dried parsley

Recipe Directions for Fishcakes Made with Mash

  1. Poach fish fillet in just enough water to cover, a fish stock cube, some peppercorns & a bay leaf.

  2. Flake fish and combine with all other ingredients except 10g of the bread crumbs/cracker meal.

  3. Shape into 5 patties and roll in remaining bread crumbs/cracker meal.

  4. Cook on low heat to brown and crisp outside of fishcakes.
