These tacos are easy and healthy.

Recipe Ingredients for Fish Tacos

1/4 head iceberg lettuce
2/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
12 ounces tilapia
8 corn tortillas

Recipe Directions for Fish Tacos

  1. Slice lettuce into to thin strips and put in a bowl. Set aside.

  2. In a wide shallow bowl or a large plate, mix the flour, salt and pepper.

  3. Slice the fish lengthwise into strips, about 1/2" wide.

  4. Roll each piece of fish in flour and place on a baking sheet. When all fish strips are on the baking sheet, spray them with oil, turn them over, then spray again.

  5. Bake fish in oven at 425 degrees F for 15-20 minutes. Turn fish over after 10 minutes.

  6. Heat tortillas 3 at a time in microwave for about 30 seconds (try one batch and adjust the time based on how hot your microwave makes them). Keep warm in tortilla. warmer or wrapped in a large piece of foil.

  7. To serve, put everything on the table with serving utensils and allow each person to create their own tacos.
