Recipe Ingredients for Fish Plaki (2lbs Fish)

2 pounds tilapia
4 cups white onion
6 cloves garlic
1 cup parsley
3 cups tomato
1/8 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons white wine

Recipe Directions for Fish Plaki (2lbs Fish)

  1. For 2 pounds fish

  2. 3 large onions

  3. 6 good size cloves garlic

  4. 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  5. 3 cups whole tomatoes, hand crushed, drained liquid

  6. 1/4 cup olive oil to saute, another 1/8+ later

  7. 2-3 tablespoons chardonnay

  8. Salt

  9. Pepper

  10. Saute onions and garlic with oil, salt and pepper until nearly transparent, but still constituted. Combine in large pot with tomatoes, parsley, wine and some extra oil. Heat to simmer; simmer for 20 minutes. Pour half in 3+ inch pan, lay fish in sauce, then pour remaining sauce over fish. Bake at 350 for 25, leave in as needed.
