Recipe Ingredients for Fish in Cheese Sauce

2 potatoes
40 g margarine
25 g flour
250 ml milk
100 g cheese

Recipe Directions for Fish in Cheese Sauce

  1. Note: fish wasn't on the system, please use 200g white fish

  2. Prepare potatoes, cut into even sized pieces and boil until soft

  3. Wash the fish, place on a metal place and steam over the potatoes in the pan

  4. Cover with the pan lid

  5. Place 25g of the margarine, flour and milk in a small pan

  6. Bring to the boil whisking all the time

  7. Simmer for 2 mins until thick

  8. Stir in half the cheese

  9. When the fish is cooked, place it in the dish

  10. Pour the sauce over and sprinkle with the remaining cheese

  11. Drain and mash the potatoes with a little margarine

  12. Pipe around the edge of the dish over the fish and sauce

  13. Brown under the grill
