Recipe Ingredients for Filet Wellington

300 g pork tenderloin
250 g bacon
200 g pastry dough
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp mustard

Recipe Directions for Filet Wellington

  1. roll out pastry dough place on cookie sheet with baking paper

  2. heat olive oil in non stick pan

  3. season tenderloin with mustard and any spices you like

  4. grill tenderloin briefly in oil until golden brown on all sides

  5. lay out bacon slices on pastry dough

  6. place tenderloin on top and roll it all up sealing the pastry dough tight around bacon and tenderloin

  7. brush pastry dough with egg yolk

  8. bake for approx. 25 mins at 350 - 380 F
