Recipe Ingredients for Figs Stuffed with Gorgonzola

8 figs, ripe Black Mission
8 T gorgonzola cheese
4 T balsamic vinegar
2 tsp sea salt
1 Black pepper, freshly ground
3 c greens, baby, mixed
2 tsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Figs Stuffed with Gorgonzola

  1. Toss greens , 2 T balsamic, a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper. Place salad on a plate before heating figs.

  2. Cut figs in half and slide gongonzola into center of each fig. Place figs cut size up on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and balsamic. Bake in oven preheated to 375 degress for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Serve warm figs next to salad.
