Sweet-tart coleslaw. Best served shortly after mixing in the "crunchies".

Recipe Ingredients for Figi Salad

8 cups cabbage, shredded (1/2 red and 1/2 green)
8 scallions, thinly sliced
1 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
168 grams ramen noodles this is 2 packages
3/4 cup slivered almonds
2/3 cup sunflower seeds

Recipe Directions for Figi Salad

  1. Mix together cabbage and scallions. Whisk oil though sugar together in a bowl. Pour over cabbage mixture and stir in well. Refrigerate at least 3 hours to soften cabbage.

  2. Immediately before serving, discard seasoning packets from ramen noodle packs and crush up uncooked noodles. Add noodles, seeds and almonds to cabbage. Mix well.

  3. Makes approximately 16 1/2 cup servings
