Roux based alfredo sauce with fettuccine.

Recipe Ingredients for Fettuccine alfredo

1 box Fettuccine Dry
4 tbsp Butter
0.25 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
3 tbsp Cream, Sour, Cultured
12 oz 100% Lactose Free Lowfat Milk
5 oz Parmesan Romano and Asiago Shredded
2 clove Garlic
1.5 tbsp chopped Shallots

Recipe Directions for Fettuccine alfredo

Melt butter in large skillet. Add shallot and garlic. Cook until aromatic, but not brown. Whisk in flour. Slowly add half of milk, constantly stirring. add sour cream. Add parmesan cheese blend. Slowly add remaining milk. Cook pasta as directed on box. Drain, and add to sauce.
