Recipe Ingredients for Feta Chile Spread

1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
8 oz. feta cheese
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 poblano peppers, diced

Recipe Directions for Feta Chile Spread

  1. Preheat broiler. Slice each pepper lenth-wise, remove seeds, and lay on foil lined baking sheet. Broil for 7-10 minutes or until lightly blackened.

  2. Peel skin from peppers and chop. Set aside.

  3. Put 8 oz. chunk of feta, yogurt, and lemon juice in a food processor, and process until well mixed, and mostly smooth. Add chopped peppers.

  4. Chill for 1 hour before serving. Serve with pita chips or fresh pita wedges.
