makes 15 1/3 cup servings. Can adjust the garlic for a stronger taste. Not too hot, very tasty. 1/2 pound of dry beans can be substituted. Soften beans overnight in water.

Recipe Ingredients for Favourite Chili

32 oz red kidney beans
28 oz diced tomatoes
2 lbs lean ground beef
2 medium onions
1 green pepper
3 cloves garlic
3 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Favourite Chili

  1. Put all ingredients into a slow cooker in order listed.

  2. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 5-6 hours.
