This juice contains detoxifying ingredients in a large quantity to make a full days supply. Diluting juice with water makes this appropriate for a fast. Include the beet or apple if you prefer a sweeter juice. If you are fasting, do not add blue-green algae, green powder, or ground seeds to this juice.

Recipe Ingredients for Fasting Juice

2 cups green or red cabbage, chopped (about 1/2 head)
2 cups collard greens or kale (16 leaves)
8 celery stalks
4 carrots
1 cucumber
2 ounces parsley (a bunch)
1 cup broccoli, coarsely chopped
1 beet (plus greens if available)
1 Granny Smith apple
4 small red radishes or 1 (4-inch) piece daikon radish
2 tablespoons fresh ginger (1-inch)
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
6 cups water (spring or distilled)

Recipe Directions for Fasting Juice

Juice the cabbage, kale, celery, carrots, cucumber, parsley, broccoli stalks, and the optional beet, radishes, and ginger. Stir in the lemon juice, if desired. Alternatively, peel the lemon and put it through the juicer with the vegetables. Strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer. Dilute the juice with an equal quantity of spring or distilled water, and store in the refrigerator to drink throughout the day.
