12 oz Mushrooms
1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Pepper, Black
4 oz Wine
0.5 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
0.66 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped) Cream, Fluid, Heavy Whipping

Recipe Directions for Farfalle with a Creamy Mushroom Sauce

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat; drain.

  2. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, onion, shallots, garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper; cook 12 minutes or until liquid evaporates and mushrooms are tender, stirring occasionally. Add wine; cook 2
