Recipe Ingredients for Famous Cinnamon Rolls

2 cups All-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsalted butter
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup 1% milk
1/3 cup unsalted butter
2/3 cups brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Famous Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Grease the inside of a large muffin tin.

  3. Sift together flour, and baking powder.

  4. With a pastry cutter or two knives, cut in the 1/3 of a cup butter, until it resembles small peas.

  5. Stir in the milk with a fork, until a dough forms.

  6. Add a little flour to the dough and knead 6-8 times.

  7. On a well floured surface, pat or roll out dough into a large rectangle (about 1/4 inch thick).

  8. In a bowl mix together sugar, butter and cinnamon.

  9. Spread sugar mixture evenly over the dough. Roll up tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces, place into muffin tin.

  10. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees F for 10 mins, or until golden.
