Recipe Ingredients for Family Pot Roast

3 pound rump roast
8 small potatoes
3 carrots
1 medium onion
1 teaspoon seasoning salt

Recipe Directions for Family Pot Roast

  1. Place half the potatoes in slow cooker.

  2. Cut arrots into 2 inch pieces andonion int wedges; place half over potatoes.

  3. Add roast and arrange remaining vegetaes around meat. Add 1 cup water.

  4. Sprinkle with salt.

  5. Cover and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours.

  6. If you happen to at home, half way through cooking time, push the vegetables down into the broth.
