Recipe Ingredients for Family Chili

1 portion ( yield from 1/2 lb raw meat ) Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
1 link Lean Turkey Italian Sausage
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 medium raw Bell Pepper Green
1 medium raw Onion Yellow
1.5 cup Black Beans, Organic
1 oz Sesame Seeds, Whole, Roasted And Toasted
1 cup, chopped Carrots
6 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 pepper Peppers, Jalapeno
4 clove Garlic
1 tsp Chili Powder

Recipe Directions for Family Chili

  1. In a large saute pan, brown ground beef and sausage.

  2. Add chopped veggies and seasonings, and continue to cook over medium heat for five minutes.

  3. Add beans and chicken broth and let simmer until veggies are tender.

  4. Serve with traditional toppings such as shredded cheese, crackers, green onion, etc.
