Recipe Ingredients for Family Broccoli and Four Cheese Bake

6 cups Broccoli and Three Cheese Sauce

Recipe Directions for Family Broccoli and Four Cheese Bake

  1. Prep: dice red bell pepper, cut Neufchatel cheese into cubes.

  2. In large dutch oven, add the contents of 1 bag of frozen Green Giant Broccoli and Three Cheese Sauce, diced red pepper, and cubed Neufchatel cheese. Cover and heat slowly over very low heat. Watch closely as this needs to be stirred every few minutes to combine cheeses.

  3. To kick it up a notch you can add a few red pepper flakes or hot sauce. Remember this adds a considerable amount of sodium to the recipe.

  4. At this point you can serve directly once heated through.

  5. Additional step:

  6. Heat mixture through, pour into sprayed 8x8 callerole dish. Top with1 cup French Fried Onion Rings. These are not added into the content since normally I omit this ingredient. I only complete this recipe when I am making this for a pot luck dinner, it adds to the presentation and no one knows it is a "healthy dish."
