Deep fried dough, with a fruit filled centre. Serve warm.

Recipe Ingredients for Falla Roll Kuchen

3 cups flour
2 eggs
1/3 cup whole milk
2/3 cup whipping cream
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 tsp salt
2 cups berries
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour

Recipe Directions for Falla Roll Kuchen

  1. Beat eggs. Warm milk/cream in microwave for 1 minute. Add to eggs and mix. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix in enough extra flour so that dough is smooth, not sticky.

  2. Roll out on floured surface until fairly thin. Cut into squares. In the centre of each square place a spoonful of the berries, and a spoonful of sugar/flour (mix these two together in a bowl).

  3. Moisten edges and fold over, pinching the sides together.

  4. Deep fry in a hot oil. Serve warm.
