Recipe Ingredients for Fall Stir-fry with Mashed Potatoes

8 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb) Pork, Cured, Bacon
16 oz Pork, Fresh, Loin, Tenderloin
1 medium raw Onion Red
16 oz Carrots
16 oz Brussels Sprouts
0.33 cup Craisins, Sweetened Dried Cranberries
4 cup Potatoes, Mashed, Home-prepared, Whole Milk Added

Recipe Directions for Fall Stir-fry with Mashed Potatoes

  1. Make mashed potatoes.

  2. In deep skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Transfer to a plate.

  3. Add the pork strips and sear to brown in bacon fat. Transfer pork to a plate.

  4. Lower heat and add onion, sage, cinnamon. Cook for 5 min.

  5. Add the carrots and Brussels sprouts and saute for 5 min. Add the broth.

  6. Cover and cook for 10 min.

  7. Return the pork to the pan, add the cranberries, then cook, uncovered, for another 5-6 min, or until the pork is cooked.

  8. Serve over mashed potatoes.
