Homemade falafel - a great source of fiber.

Recipe Ingredients for Falafel (homemade)

1.5 cup Garbanzo Beans
2 tbsp Sesame Butter, Tahini, From Roasted And Toasted Kernels (Most Common Type)
2 clove Garlic
0.25 cup, chopped Onions
10 sprigs Parsley
8 oz Split Peas
1 tbsp Olive Oil
0.25 cup Olive Oil
1/2 cup Panko
1 large Egg, Whole
1 tsp Cumin

Recipe Directions for Falafel (homemade)

Blend all ingredients except panko in a food processor until relatively smooth but a little chunky. Mix in the panko and form into 20 balls. Fry in vegetable oil until browned on both sides (or bake until firm and browned). Two balls is a serving.
