Baked in the oven and super yummy without the fat

Recipe Ingredients for Falafel Baked

2 cups chickpeas
1/3 cup onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp hot sauce
1/5 cup chickpea flour (3 TB)

Recipe Directions for Falafel Baked

  1. Heat oven 400'

  2. Grind up chickpeas add parsley onion and pulse. Add remaining ingredients adding enough chick pea flour to form walnut size balls.

  3. Using cooking spray coat cookie sheet. Flatten the balls into small 2.5" patties.

  4. Bake for about 8-10 min and then flip and spray again and cook for another 8 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
