Recipe Ingredients for Fake Spaghetti Carbonara

300 grams Spaghetti
250 grams Mushrooms
50 grams Pork, Cured, Bacon
30 grams Gouda Cheese
2 serving Twijfelaar cheese (cow, goat, sheep)
100 grams Cream, Fluid, Light (Coffee Cream Or Table Cream)
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 fl oz Wine, Table, White

Recipe Directions for Fake Spaghetti Carbonara

  1. Cook the pasta and save about 4 tbsp of their water.

  2. In a big pan, saute the bacon, add the onion and finally the mushrooms.

  3. Salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Give it a stir and add the wine.

  5. Once evaporated, add the pasta water and the cream and lightly stir.

  6. Add the pasta, the cheese, a bit of fresh nutmeg (goes great with white sauces) and mix well.

  7. Serve with parsley and fresh black pepper.
