my attempt at skinny-fied carbonara (plus I stink at tempering eggs)

Recipe Ingredients for fake-onara

8 oz thin spaghetti
4 tbsp whipped cream cheese
1 1/2 tbs whipped cream cheese
2 Light Original Swiss Spreadable Cheese Wedges
2 tsp olive oil
1 tbs butter
2/3 cup milk
1 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 cup peas
15 slices turkey bacon
2/3 cup parmesan
1 clove garlic
1/2 onion

Recipe Directions for fake-onara

  1. In hindsight - I'd cook the bacon in strips in the oven on a rack to get it crispy then crumble it in...

  2. two laughing cow cheese wedges and a little more than quarter cup of whipped cream cheese (trying to empty the fridge) and a 1/4 cup milk in the microwave for a minute and stir until smooth.

  3. cook onions and garlic on stove in butter and oil, add peas and turkey, and pasta... add milk / stock/ parm to desired consistency and season with black pepper...
