Sort of cross between pot roast and beef burgundy. I recommend serving with a mixed greens salad and some sort of crusty bread.

1 pound sirloin , cut into bite sized pieces
12 oz pearl onions
12 oz carrots, sliced
2 medium potatoes, diced into bite sized pieces
2 T tomato paste
1 c red wine
1 c beef stock
2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp thyme
