Recipe Ingredients for Experimental Banana Bread #1

1 cup oats
6 large bananas
1 cup pecan halves
1 cup Gold Medal Better for Bread Flour
1 cup wheat flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup margarine
2 large eggs
4 oz Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
4 oz Apple Sauce

Recipe Directions for Experimental Banana Bread #1

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and blend until well mixed.

  3. Coat two loaf pans with non-stick spray (or butter if you prefer). Split mixture between two pans and top each with 7 pecans down the center.

  4. Bake in oven until toothpick poked into center of each loaf comes out clean.

  5. Serve warm with some yogurt spread (or by itself) and enjoy!
