Recipe Ingredients for Everyday Bread - Jennifer Reese

2 tsp active dry yeast
3 1/2 cups water
5 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 tbsp kosher salt

Recipe Directions for Everyday Bread - Jennifer Reese

  1. 1. Oil 2 9x5 loaf pans

  2. 2. Mix ingredients in large bowl,

  3. 3. Scrape dough into pans, dividing equally

  4. 4. Cover pans with damp dishtowel until dough rises to top of pans (2-2.5 hours)

  5. 5. Preheat oven to 450 F

  6. 6. Bake loaves for 30 minutes

  7. 7. Remove loaves from pans and return to oven to bake another 15 minutes

  8. 8. Allow to cool (or dive in)
