Recipe Ingredients for Esau's potage

1 lb lentils
3 T olive oil
2 cups onion
2 t garlic
1 tsp cumin
14 oz tomato
5 cups broth
5 cups water

Recipe Directions for Esau's potage

  1. saute onions 7-mins in olive oil.

  2. add garlic & spices

  3. add lentils, stir to coat and heat till fragrant

  4. add tomatos & paste

  5. add broth and water

  6. bring to boil

  7. set to med-low to simmer till lentils done.
