Recipe Ingredients for E's Whole Wheat Raspberry White Chocolate Scones

1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup raspberries (unthawed if frozen)
1 & 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 & 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for E's Whole Wheat Raspberry White Chocolate Scones

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. In a large bowl mix together flours, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

  3. In a medium sized bowl beat egg, and mix in milk.

  4. Cut butter into small pieces and add to flour mixture. Mix in egg mixture until just blended.

  5. Add chocolate and raspberries and fold in gently.

  6. Drop spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet sprayed with non stick spray - about 2 inches apart.

  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
