Recipe Ingredients for English Muffins

1 cup 2% milk
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp shortening
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp yeast
1/4 cup cornmeal

Recipe Directions for English Muffins

  1. Put first 7 ingredients in breadmaker; set to Dough/Pasta and turn on.

  2. When the dough is ready, roll it out on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thick and cut into 20 even pieces. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.

  3. Bake for 6-7 each side in a 350 degree oven.
