Cereal bars with almonds and dried fruit

Recipe Ingredients for Energy bars

1 1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup almonds
1 cup almond butter
1/2 cup honey
1 cup cereal
1/3 cup dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Energy bars

  1. Preheat oven to 365'F. Place oats and almonds on a baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes or until lightly toasted and fragrant.

  2. Place almond butter and honey in a microwave bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minutes. Stir well.

  3. Place oat mixture, warm almond buter mixture, cereal (puffed rice or Kashi GOLEAN), and dried cranberries in a large bowl. Mix well.

  4. Line an 8x8 pan with waxed paper or foil. Press mixture firmly into pan, pressing evenly. Refrigerate 3-4 hours. Cut into 16 squares.
