Great snack or quick brekfast on the go

Recipe Ingredients for Energy bars

1 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup honey
4 tbls peanut butter
1/3 cup raisin
2 tbls hot water

Recipe Directions for Energy bars

  1. Combine all ingrediants in bowl and mix with a spatula as well as possible. Wet your hands and knead together in the bow.

  2. Line a loaf pan (8 1/4 X 4 1/4) with foil and lightly oil foil. Pat mixture into loaf pan and bake in a 325 over for 25 - 30 minutes. Lift bars out of pan by the foil and cool on a rack in the foil to keep the shape. Once completely cool cut into 8 bars and wrap.
