Gluten-free, vegan, no-cook energy bars. Aaaand they taste like brownie batter. Oh yeah.

Recipe Ingredients for Energy Bar (Chocolate Almond)

7 oz Dates, Domestic, Natural And Dry
0.33 cup Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened, Processed
1/2 cup, sliced Almonds
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
2 T flaxseeds

Recipe Directions for Energy Bar (Chocolate Almond)

  1. In food processor or blender, pulverize dates. Add other ingredients, pulsing to combine. You may need to scrap down the sides or rearrange the ball of dough a few times.

  2. Press into long rectangle in pan or on foil.

  3. Refrigerate and cut into bar. Enjoy!
