Recipe Ingredients for Enchiladas

12 6" flour tortillas
1 lb ground beef, 15% fat, browned
6 oz taco seasoning
15 oz tomato sauce
1 c water
2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Enchiladas

  1. Brown ground beef and drain fat

  2. Add 1 c water and taco seasoning, reserving 1 tsp of the mix, to beef, mix well and heat until water evaporates.

  3. Add the reserved taco seasoning to the tomato sauce and mix together

  4. Pour just enough sauce in the bottom of a 9x12 dish to coat.

  5. Place a spoonful of ground beef and some cheese in the center of a tortilla. Then roll tortilla

  6. Place rolled tortilla in the baking dish.

  7. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

  8. Pour remaining sauce over all of them.

  9. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the enchiladas

  10. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes
