This is a yummy spicy dish that can clear up any stuffy nose and still be pleasing to the tummy!

Recipe Ingredients for Eloise's Spicy Spinach Dish

3 cup white rice
3 pound of chopped frozen spinach
1 pound beef stew
1 medium onion, sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons of red pepper
1 teaspoon of seasoned salt
6 cups of water

Recipe Directions for Eloise's Spicy Spinach Dish

  1. Boil meat (chicken can be substituted) in water with onion, season salt, and red pepper for 45 minutes on med heat.

  2. Remove meat from pot, set aside.

  3. Add all packages of the spinach to the existing water mixture.

  4. Boil for approximately 20 minutes or until done.

  5. Return meat to pot, with spinach in it.

  6. Add vegetable oil.

  7. Continue boiling mixdture until most of the water evaporates. Stirring frequently.

  8. Prepare 3 cups of white as directed on box.

  9. Serve as follows:

  10. Put one cup of rice in a bowl and cover with the spicy spinach and beef mixture. Bon Appetit!
