This is a version I made tonight, without realizing I'd already added it to the site. If there are variations between the two recipes, this one at least has all ingredients included in the calorie count.

Recipe Ingredients for Ellen's Black Bean Chili 2

2 tbsp. olive oil
1 large onion, diced
1/4 c. diced green chilies
2 cloves garlic, minced
24 oz. black beans, canned
14 1/2 oz. tomatoes, diced (canned)
1 tbsp. tequila
1/4 c. cilantro, fresh, chopped

Recipe Directions for Ellen's Black Bean Chili 2

  1. In a soup or stew pot, sautee the onions, green chilis, and garlic in olive oil, on medium heat, until the onions turn translucent (about 10 minutes).

  2. Add the black beans, tomatoes, cocoa, tequila, and cilantro, and stir well.

  3. Let simmer for 30 minutes or so.
