An okay-tasting omelette. For a healthier variation, add less oil.

Recipe Ingredients for Egg White Tuna Omelette

4 egg whites
2 oz chopped yellow onion
6 oz Solid White Tuna in Water
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 oz cheddar cheese
1 oz raw spinach

Recipe Directions for Egg White Tuna Omelette

  1. Separate egg whites into bowl

  2. Add milk to egg whites and beat for a minute

  3. Set egg whites aside

  4. Chop onions and spinach

  5. Drain tuna and add to onions and spinach

  6. Add spices to mixture

  7. Heat oil/butter in pan over high heat

  8. Sear mixture for several minutes until tuna is browned

  9. Remove mixture

  10. Grate cheese over mixture

  11. Re-oil pan, and add egg-whites

  12. After egg whites solidify, add tuna mixture and grated cheese

  13. Cook for 2 more minutes, then fold and flip

  14. Cook to desired brownness, then serve
