Simple egg tart. No added sugar and low fat.

Recipe Ingredients for Egg tart

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
10 eggs
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup soy milk

Recipe Directions for Egg tart

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour and the egg (beaten) until the mixture forms a dough.

  2. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls, and press the balls into tart molds so that it covers the bottom, and goes up higher than the sides. Use 2 fingers to shape the edge into an A shape.

  3. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

  4. Pour water in a saucepan.

  5. Strain the remaining eggs (beaten) through a sieve, and whisk into the water.

  6. Stir in the milk.

  7. Strain the filling through a sieve, and fill the tart shells.

  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven until golden brown and when the filling is puffed up a little bit.
