Homemade Egg Rolls. Can add meat for protein or bake to reduce calories.

Recipe Ingredients for Egg Rolls

3 wrappers Egg Roll
1 cup, chopped Cabbage, Red
1 cup chopped raw Napa Cabbage
1 large Egg, Whole
2 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
0.13 cup, chopped Carrots
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Ginger, Ground
1 serving Rice Vinegar
0.25 tsp Pepper, White
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola

Recipe Directions for Egg Rolls

  1. Thinly slice cabbage, carrots and green onions.

  2. Pour 1T rice vinegar and sprinkle the white and black pepper over the vegetables. Mix and let sit for 1/2 hr.

  3. Heat sautee pan and add veggies. Cook until they begin to tender.

  4. Scramble egg then add to veggies.

  5. Pour soy sauce over the veggies, cook to incorporate flavors (3 min)

  6. Heat oil in another sautee pan.

  7. Fill three egg roll wraps with filing. Roll and seal edges with water.

  8. Fry on both sides, turning once, about 2 min each side. Or, bake on 450.
