Recipe Ingredients for egg drop soup

1 tbsp Rice Flour
0.5 serving Chicken Bouillon Cubes
3 slices (1" dia) Ginger Root
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 dash Pepper, Black
1 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
3 medium Mushrooms
1 large Egg, Whole

Recipe Directions for egg drop soup

  1. Heat enough water for one large serving of soup - add 1/2 bouillon cube and stir. add 3 slices of ginger, 1 smashed and chopped garlic clove, chopped green onion, celery stalk and mushroom. bring to a boil.

  2. Remove 1 cup of liquid from soup and stir in 1 tbsp rice flour. when completely dissolved, pour back into the soup and bring to a boil. reduce to simmer and add a dash of black pepper. simmer for 5 minutes. remove pot from heat.

  3. Beat one egg and add slowly to soup, stirring. Let sit for 5-10 minutes and eat.
