It's easy and delicious for a special breakfast.

Recipe Ingredients for Egg Bake

8 slices of whole wheat bread
10 eggs
1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese
3/4 lb of bacon
1 1/2 cups of skim milk

Recipe Directions for Egg Bake

  1. Heat oven to 375 and grease a 9 by 12 pan.

  2. Cut the crusts from the bread and layer them in the pan. Be sure not to leave gaps.

  3. Cook bacon and crumble it over the bread.

  4. Layer the cheese over the bread and bacon.

  5. Beat the eggs and mix in the milk.

  6. Pour the eggs and milk over the bread, cheese, and bacon.

  7. Put it in the oven for about 45 minutes to an hour. (Test the eggs. Ovens vary.)
