Recipe Ingredients for Egg Bake (low-calorie)

10 slices whole wheat bread, cubed, divided
14 ounces smoked turkey sausage, sliced
7 ounces low-fat part-skim Swiss cheese
16 oz. original Egg Beaters
3 cup skim milk
1 small onion, diced
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
1/4 tsp. dry mustard

Recipe Directions for Egg Bake (low-calorie)

  1. Spread half the cubed bread in a greased 913" baking dish; cover with the sliced sausage and cheese. Spread the remaining bread cubes over the sausage and cheese.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Egg Beaters, milk, onion, bell pepper, and dry mustard; pour over bread.

  3. Cover baking dish and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 375.

  4. Bake, uncovered, for 75 minutes, or until eggs are set.
