My experiment with Lowfat Banana Bread. This is not a cake-like version. No oil, 0.2g fat per serving (not sure where's the fat is from)

Recipe Ingredients for EASY Whole Wheat Banana Bread

2 cup whole wheat flour
2 egg white
3 large bananas
1/3 cup applesauce
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup splenda

Recipe Directions for EASY Whole Wheat Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F

  2. Line parchment paper on a loaf pan

  3. Mix together, mashed banana, applesauce, egg white, cinnamon, nutmeg, Splenda, salt

  4. Sift together, flour, baking soda and baking powder

  5. Pour the wet mixture in the the dry mixture and mix well

  6. Bake at 350 F Degree for 40 minutes or until done

  7. Cut into thin slice (about size of sandwich bread). Serve about 18 slices. (I used Wide Silicone Loaf Pan)

  8. *I eat it with Promise Spread (5 calories). Yummy!*
