Easy biscuits that go great with soup, breakfast or as a snack! You can add a cup of cheddar cheese for cheese scones. This is a basic recipe that I use for my kids. You can substitute ingredients to reduce fat and calories as you see fit.

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Scones

2 cups flour
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup splenda
3/4 cup homogenized milk
4 tablespoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Easy Scones

  1. Mix dry ingredients together

  2. Add wet ingredients

  3. Knead dough on lightly floured surface until it comes together.

  4. Pat down to 1 1/2 inch thick circle

  5. Cut (like a pie) into 8 triangles

  6. Place on lightly greased pan and bake in 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.

  7. For a crispier biscuit brush tops with milk before baking.
