Easy "home cooked" salisbury steak

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Salisbury Steak

1 pound Extra Lean ground beef (95% lean)
1/3 cup Pepperidge FarmŽ Herb Seasoned Stuffing, crushed
2 tbsp finely chopped onions
1/4 cup Egg Beaters
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups Campbell's Fat Free Beef Gravy (a 10.25 oz can/jar)
1 cup Fresh sliced mushrooms (optional)
4 cups hot mashed potatoes

Recipe Directions for Easy Salisbury Steak

  1. Mix thoroughly beef, stuffing, onion and egg beaters.

  2. Shape firmly into 4 patties, 1/2" thick.

  3. HEAT oil in skillet. Add patties and cook until browned. Pour off fat.

  4. ADD gravy and mushrooms. Heat to a boil.

  5. Cover and cook over low heat 5 min. or until done.

  6. Serve with potatoes.
