We've tweaked the ingredients from an original recipe to use walnuts instead of almonds and add protein powder, to produce the taste we love. But feel free to change types of nuts or fruit, etc.

Recipe Ingredients for Easy, Quick and Delicious Granola Bars

3 cups quick cooking oats
14 ounce of sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons of butter, melted
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
8 ounces of protein powder

Recipe Directions for Easy, Quick and Delicious Granola Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 9x13 inch pan.

  2. Melt butter and mix it with sweetened condensed milk.

  3. In a large bowl, mix well all ingredients with a large spoon, or your hands.

  4. Press flat into prepared pan.

  5. Bake for 20 - 22 minutes in the preheated oven with the rack in its highest position. Check doneness at 19 minutes. They should be lightly browned around the edges for moist, chewy bars.

  6. Let cool for 10 minutes, cut into 24 squares and let squares cool completely.
