This recipe came from the internet. I made some changes. I also have spices in the tomato sauce such as basil and oregano.

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Polenta with Tomato Sauce

4 c water
1 c cornmeal
2 c tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Easy Polenta with Tomato Sauce

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Spray a 9" baking dish.

  3. In a large pot bring water to a boil over med-high heat.

  4. When it is at a rolling boil, gradually whisk in the cornmeal, making sure there are no lumps.

  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring constantly until thick, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat.

  6. Pour the polenta into the prepared baking dish, and spread spaghetti sauce over the top.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until sauce is bubbling.
