Makes 1 thick crust or 2 thin crust pizzas

Recipe Ingredients for Easy Pizza Recipe

2 3/4 cup flour
2 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup boiling water

Recipe Directions for Easy Pizza Recipe

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and let stand 5 minutes.

  2. In a large bowl dissolve sugar, salt and butter in 1 cup boiling water and let stand for 10 minutes.

  3. Mix yeast with butter mixture. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Knead dough approximately 15 times. Let rise 5 minutes.

  4. Spread dough on large pizza pan. Spread pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and toppings.

  5. Bake at 425 for 20-25 minutes.
